Court
Hi there, we had our court appointment this morning. Unfortunately we didn't pass this time. We were missing our MOWA letter and as soon as it comes we will pass. Martha was thinking it might come as soon as today and hopefully before we have to leave next week. I won't lie, it is disappointing! It is just a formality and nothing is in question so that is good. It is just a matter of one paper. As soon as the paper comes we will be able to see him again. Until then, we have some busy days ahead of us. On Wed/Thurs we will travel to Soddo to see where he was born. On Friday we will travel to Adama with the other families who get to have visits with their kids. Hopefully we will have good news in the next post that we have officially passed court!

So sorry you guys! That is truly disappointing. We will pray that the letter comes in before you leave so you get to spend more time with you little boy.

Hugs to you Brenda. I hope MOWA signs the letter and you are able to see your little guy before you come home. We did not pass our first time either we left a care package with Germatchew to give our daughter for after we passed court.

I hope that your MOWA letter comes quick, quick, quick! Enjoy the rest of your time in Ethiopia.
Instead of "sorry", I'll offer congrats. If all that stands between you and your boy is a little letter, that should come soon, I think that's pretty good (especially compared to what some families have dealt with). Enjoy the next couple of days, and I'll pray like crazy that it'll get to court quickly, so you can visit him before you come home.

So so glad the judge part is behind you and now fingers crossed for a fast fast arrival of the letter.
I really really hope it arrives before you leave.
I had the opposite the judge ordered another date and my letter was there either way it does make the day hard.
